A full-time lecturing post has arisen within the Institute of Engineering and Transport – Centre for Maritime Studies to lecture in the following subject: “Master Mariner”.

​- Candidates must be certified as Master Mariner and have a full STWC qualification.

- Preference will be given to candidates having teaching experience.

- In order to be recruited, successful candidates will need prior approval by Transport Malta.

- Extensive sea-going experience will be considered an advantage.

Lecturer Grades and Salaries as at 2020:

The successful candidate will be recruited in one of the above lecturing grades, depending on his/her qualifications and years of experience, in accordance with the guidelines listed in the MCAST-MUT Collective Agreement 2017-2022.

Vacancies will be filled if and when openings become available. Successful candidates will be called to fill existing vacancies in accordance with the order of merit.
