Description

MCAST is seeking to fill the position of Deputy Director Policy Analysis. 


The selected candidate will be engaged on a three-year definite contract, renewable.

Requirements

a. Experience/Qualifications


Candidates are required to:

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Management or Education;

- Be in possession of a Master’s Degree at MQF Level 7 in Social Sciences, Management or Education;

- Have 3 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities outlined in the job description.


b. Personal skills/Technical skills/Disposition


- Networking skills and the ability to foster effective working relationships with people at all levels;

- Ability to challenge ideas and current methods;

- Leadership skills and the ability to manage oneself and others;

- Ability to discuss sensitive and confidential issues with staff and maintain confidentiality;

- Ability to develop and deliver presentations;

- Interpersonal skills;

- Written and verbal communication skills in Maltese and English;

- IT skills;

- Planning and Organizational Skills;

- Problem analysis, problem solving and decision making skills;

- Time management skills, ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines;

- Ability to work independently and as part of team.
