About Us

MCAST is Malta’s leading vocational education institution comprising of three colleges offering   a broad variety of courses within  six institutes. MCAST also offers selection of its courses at its Gozo Campus.  

The MCAST Foundation College offers certificate and diploma courses at  MQF level 1 , 2 and 3. The MCAST Technical College offers Advanced Diplomas at MQF level 4 while the MCAST University College offers  Higher diploma  and degree courses up to MQF level 7.

MCAST aims at creating collaborative relations with industry so as to ensure that students following our courses would be able to transfer gained skills and knowledge within the economic sector. This would facilitate even further students’ transition from education to employment while meeting the requirements and challenges of the industry within the local and global scenario.

Recruitment Policy at MCAST

The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology seeks to attract qualified and /or experienced candidates who support the mission of the College to successfully support the academic and non-academic operations while respecting and promoting excellence through equity, diversity and integrity. Overview of the MCAST Recruitment Process

This portal is intended to aid candidates in applying for careers that would of interest to them and who pursue to join our successful team. You are therefore encouraged to apply for any positions that would be of interest to you.

Following the closing date of each call, the Selection Board would proceed with reviewing all applications that would have been submitted through the portal.

It is the mission of the HR recruitment policy at MCAST to be consistent, transparent and fair in the careful screening of all applications depending on the nature of the position as well as on the qualifications and experience required for each of the arising vacancies. This would ensure that candidates are graded through a systemic, standardised and rigorous approach.

Candidates who are eligible as per delineated profile requirements, would be called for an interview to discuss further the prospect of employment and to assess suitability of each candidates for the post.

Following the conclusion of the interview process, candidates would be notified of their result and should appointment follow, candidates would also be required to provide the HR department with names and contact details of two referees, ideally one of whom would be a previous employer. Additionally transcripts, qualifications, and other certification or documentation such as accreditation statements for overseas qualifications shall be validated.

MCAST reserves the right to conduct any checks of the presented documentation prior to issuing an offer of employment.

From time to time, successful candidates would be required to attend any organised training initiatives and courses to ensure that the development of skills and knowledge are in place and consequently provide opportunities of professional growth to every staff member.
